Our houses are located in the foothills with a fantastic view of the Dachstein massif. American bison (Bos bison) graze in our own meadows and fields. An enclosure with ibex (Alpine ibex, Capra ibex) is created on the southern slope of the Hotel Ramsauer Alm. It’s fascinating how the young ibexes do gymnastics on the rocks.

Hiking, walking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing start right from the hotel. Alpine skiers are only a short distance from Rittisberg, the ski mountain in Ramsau am Dachstein. The ski bus takes you to the region’s major ski mountains (Planai, Dachstein, Reiteralm, Hauser Kaibling), free of charge with a valid ticket.
